So....
I'm never the best at updating things. Truth be told, I am a terrible procrastinator. Just take a look at my Statistics grade, which is a 4... yea, not proud of that either. But at least I can turn my late work in for full credit. Take the positive with the negative.
Back on track though. Today's gym time was great. Killed my delts and arms. Feeling the burn... and it feels great.
And so now I begin what will probably feel like the longest 8 hour shift in a long time. See, my vacation starts at 4 P.M. today. Really looking forward to it. Tomorrow I will be Baltimore-bound to see one of the greatest industrial metal bands of all time: RAMMSTEIN!!!!
I feel in love with the group after watching them on the Family Values Tour '98 DVD way back in the day. Yes, that's the DVD with the famous "Buck Dich" stage antic which would land them in a Massachusetts' jail a short time afterwards. But the music was beast, and I was taking German in middle school at the time. Needless to say, it spoke to me because of my love for metal and German. So, I made myself a promise that if they came back (which, after being arrested, they said they would never tour America again... and didn't for nearly 14 years), I would make sure I went to one of their shows.
That promise finally will come true tomorrow when I see them live. But the promise also came with another condition. I am to get a mohawk. Yes, I am getting one. Tonight! Much to the dismay of my parents. I will more than likely be the only guy there with a grey mohawk. (yes, I'm 25 and have grey hair... and love it) Still a little nervous about getting it. But at the same time I'm excited. It's something I've never done and I'm going to enjoy my little vacation. I have to cut it off on Sunday, because my job has a "No unusual haircuts" policy (wack!) but I need to retain my job. So, I will enjoy my little bit of rebelliousness for the 5 days I get to be who I feel is the real me: Tattooed, pierced, mohawk, my new-age biker clothing, and a IDGAF attitude.
Freedom... Even if it's only for 5 days.
